Launch of 2023 Red Ribbon Campaign – Partnering with TTC
Toronto’s Red Ribbon campaign got off to a fabulous start November 7th at the TTC yards. Representatives from Toronto Police, Toronto Fire, OPP, EMS, and TTC all gave impactful talks supporting the Red Ribbon campaign – which raises awareness of the dangers of impaired driving, especially during the holiday season. There are 27 buses with the photos of victims of impaired driving, as well as 3 special ones with the message “A Mother’s Love is Irreplaceable”. The families of the victims attended the launch. Carolyn Swinson and Bob Carreau from MADD Toronto shared their stories of the tragic loss of family members. The event was well attended by press, and shown on the evening news.
