Choose your ride or the choice may be made for you

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) Toronto will host an event on August 22nd from 11am to 3pm., at the Real Canadian Superstore (1755 Brimley Rd) in partnership with the Toronto Police Services (43 Division and Traffic Services), Ontario Provincial Police, Toronto Fire Services, Toronto Paramedic Services, Toronto Transit Commission and Dignity Memorial.

The event is designed to encourage Torontonians to choose the best ride home if they are drinking at events this summer.

People shopping at the Real Canadian Superstore between the hours of 11am and 3pm will have their groceries bagged by members of the Toronto Police Service and the Ontario Provincial Police. 

Vehicles from the above organizations will be lined up in the parking area and accessible to the public. Volunteers will be on hand to give Torontonians access to the vehicles while raising awareness about the dangers of impaired driving. Donations will be accepted to benefit victims of impaired driving and local MADD Toronto programs.

Spokespeople from participating organizations will be on site to speak to media for the duration of the event.
