About Us

Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD Canada) is a charitable, grassroots organization that is committed to stopping impaired driving and supporting the victims of this violent crime.

Each and every year, thousands of Canadians are killed or injured in impaired driving crashes. Driving under the influence of alcohol or other drugs is a terrible crime that touches all our lives. It is an irresponsible, dangerous and intolerable act. MADD Canada strives to offers support services to victims/survivors, heighten awareness about the dangers of alcohol and/or drug-impaired driving, and to save lives and prevent injuries on our roads.

MADD Timmins & Area is made up of mothers, fathers, students, business professionals and concerned citizens who are changing things for the better. We believe you do not need to be a victim/survivor of impaired driving to take action on this vital issue, though many of our supporters have been affected deeply by impaired driving.

All donations made to MADD Timmins & Area stay in our area and help us provide victim/survivor support, public awareness campaigns, school outreach programs, support for legislative change, community events, Project Red Ribbon and many more important initiatives.

If you need help, or would like to join our efforts, call MADD Timmins & Area at (705) 266-5177.
