Three Impaired Drivers charged in Bruce County

CALLER HELPS SOUTH BRUCE OPP STOP IMPAIRED DRIVER

(BRANT TWP, ON) – On May 9, 2022, at 5:23 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a suspected impaired driver. Officers located the vehicle on Concession 8 in Brant Township and found that the driver had been drinking alcohol.

Rose WEBER, 60-years-old, from the Municipality of Brockton was charged with Impaired Driving and Operate over 80 milligrams. The accused will be appearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton to answer to the charges.

DRIVER FACING IMPAIRED CHARGES

(KINCARDINE, ON) – On May 5, 2022, at 1:42 a.m., a South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer stopped to check a vehicle along Sutton Street in Kincardine. The officer found that the driver had been drinking alcohol.

The driver was placed under arrest and taken to a Qualified Intoxilizer Technician for breath tests.

Schuyler KOPRLA, 33-years-old, of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta was charged with Impaired Driving and Operate over 80 milligrams. The accused will be appearing before the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton to answer to the charges.

IMPAIRED DRIVER FACING DAY IN COURT

(BRANT TWP, ON) – On May 1, 2022 at 2:49 a.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police received a report of a suspicious vehicle along Concession 2 in Brant Township. Officers located the vehicle and found that the driver had been drinking alcohol.

Jacob WEISHAR, 23-years-old, of Culross Township was charged with Impaired Driving and Operate over 80 milligrams.

The accused will be appearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Walkerton to answer to the charges.

An impaired driving charge includes an immediate 90-day driver’s license suspension and an immediate 7-day vehicle impoundment.
