Hundreds of local school children had a chance to try the NEED FOR SPEED game at the recent Emergency Preparedness Day. MADD Sarnia/Lambton volunteers were assisted by students from the Lambton College Fire Sciences Program including Wes Nameth (operating the NEED FOR SPEED) and David Witteveen who talked to the kids about the dangers of impaired driving. David is shown with some students trying to “walk the line”. MADD Sarnia/Lambton treasurer, Erin Pollard, is also pictured handing out red ribbons and stickers. We estimate we talked to about 1,200 children over five hours. A very successful day!
